SCRIB: One Year On 15/06/07
How time flies when you're having fun! The revamped SCRIB website is celebrating its first anniversary in June. The website has proved to be hugely popular with teachers, pupils, parents and other members of the public alike. In the last 12 months, tens of thousands of visitors have logged onto the site, we've received hundreds of requests for our 'Kids in Charge' DVD and we've answered lots of questions on all aspects of steel packaging recycling.

As one of the main sponsors of Recycle Now Week (2nd - 9th June), Corus organised two media stunts to raise awareness of the importance of recycling steel packaging, demonstrating just how versatile and strong steel is as a packaging material.

Hitting targets two years early 15/06/07
You may be aware that the UK is set annual recycling targets to ensure that less packaging material ends up in landfill sites. There was good reason to celebrate recently when new figures revealed that the UK's steel packaging recycling rate had beaten the 2008 target of 54% set by the UK Government two years early.
